Sledging

Today's the day ............................ to go forth blindly

They said we'd have fog today - something about the warm front battling with the cold front and not winning - and again they were right. We woke up to yesterday's snow but this time, it was shrouded in misty fog.

That didn't deter the sledgers on the green though who were out in force. It probably added something to the journey to launch yourself off from the top of the slope into the unknown. At any rate, they all seemed to be enjoying themselves.

The good news was that the warm front succeeded in melting a bit of the snow around our satellite aeriel on the roof - and so we got the television back in time to watch Wales defeat Ireland in a very exciting Six Nations Rugby match this afternoon ..........................
