The Cheapest Plane Ticket Ever

Today a friend of mine and I sat outside and read to each other. It was my favorite thing we did today. I liked this shot, because the book looks like a bird, flying above that rooftop.

My mother loves to read, and as hard as she tried throughout my childhood to instill the love of literature in me, it didn't really take until I reached college. Now, I see reading just as she's always told me she sees it--as an escape.

It's even better when you can escape with someone you really, really like :)
