Frozen
We caught the seabus over to North Vancouver and then the bus up to Grouse Mountain and then the gondola up through the trees. Trees that were bent over with the weight of the snow! The visibility was poor so we hired snow shoes and headed up the Snow Shoe grind to the peak at the top of the mountain. It was hard going but fun, at the top the mist momentarily cleared to reveal the Vancouver shoreline glinting in the sunlight. The way down the mountain was more fun, I discovered I could sledge down on the back of my snow shoes and go really quite fast!
We caught the seabus back across the bay in darkness and it seemed that lights were shining from every window in the city. Finally we have remembered that it is a working holiday!
