Friendship

I was so glad to see my friends Jess and Torsten today as well as their beautiful little girl Amelie. Their gentle kindness soothed my anxieties.

I've had a tricky weekend. I ran into an old flame I call Mr Meerkat and I sat with him for heart fluttering couple of hours watching the rugby. It was a shame to hear he's not single - he's really lovely and it was so great to see him and catch up.

But that aside my flatmate seems to have taken an angry dislike to me for reasons I find difficult to understand and it's making life at home really uncomfortable. It will be a blessing when he moves out next weekend I'm sorry to say. Who needs someone constantly criticising you and reducing you to tears when you walk through the door?
