Snowy Cathederal

I had hoped for a snowy blip today & was pleased that we had had quite a heavy falling of snow during the night. We had already made plans that we were going to get up early & then walk into town in order to get some snowy blips & a hot chocolate of course!

We set off with suitable equipment, although I hadn't appreciated how difficult it was to trudge through fresh thick snow......both of us muttering "all in the name of blip..." along the way! But it was worth it. The cathederal looked stunning, with all of it's detail highlighted by the gleaming white snow. My picture doesn't really do it justice but looks slightly better in large.

After our hot chocolate we went for a walk around the park where there were numerous sledgers & where we also encountered a snow dinosaur and also a gathering of ducks whose beaks were chattering because the were so cold......poor things.

On our way back home I did suggest to Mr F that we should have got a sledge & he could have pulled me all the way home........he wasn't very impressed!
