I've Got my Eye on You

Thanks to everyone for all the stars and heart's for yesterday's "After the Rain" sunset. As I have said before, I think there is a fair bit of luck in getting these shots, as the full colour only ever seems to last for a few moments. When you do capture it, and can add a few words to describe the atmosphere and sounds, it becomes one of those magic moments, which we are fortunate enough to be able to share on Blip.

When I awoke this morning the sky was pink and I took a couple of lazy blips out of the window. I was tempted to post my Pink Morning, but decided I have to try and get away from what is becoming my comfort zone.

Instead I took some shots of patterns in the sand while I was out for my run on the beach, but didn't really like them. After lunch I tried a few shots from the kitchen window of birds at the repositioned bird-feeder. Again, I didn't really like any of them as there was too much clutter around the birds. However, after playing around with different crops, I settled on this one of the Robin in close up. I think it his hairstyle I particularly like! With the cropping and taking the shot through the glass window, the blip is not as sharp as it might be. Never mind I simply like Robins!
