It really did do a bit of snowing last night. We kept poking our heads out of the front door to have a look.

This is the view along the route of the walk we take regularly and have been out on again this afternoon. We used to see lots of brown hares in these fields, but not any more. Since the bypass road was built we see fewer, hardly any at all, in fact.

We did one snowy day a few years back see a brown hare in one of the fields and we kept hoping that we might see one today. No luck!

The farmer was chasing us up the road shortly after this was taken, he was doing a bit of snow ploughing.
