Misdirected flight

It is still cold and wintery, but the wind has died down and the sun came out brilliantly, however briefly. I've been chained to my computer doing a chore I've put off for more than a week, so an interesting blip was looking unlikely. I'd just taken a few half-hearted shots of this and that and the other thing, when we heard a loud thump on the glass of the door to the terrace. When we looked we saw this little guy, looking very dazed and confused. We managed to get some very nice shots of him before we left him alone to recuperate from his crash.

When next we looked, he was gone, so we are hoping he's flown off well and happy.
