Seeing double!!

The promised snow arrived overnight with a covering of around 3 inches geeting me this morning. Came downstairs to make some tea and noticed birds thronging round the feeders. So pulled on trousers, put coat on over nightie, booted up and headed outside to add extra food and provide water.

My efforts were appreciated with visits from Dunnock, Starling, Sparrows and Blackbirds.

Then my surprise visitor from last weekend put in a reappearance with his missus. Sorry the photos are so bleary but they were either taken through the window or on high zoom in low light.

But the stars were once again the Robins. Such a cheery presence.
