Recumbent magic

The first time I tried a recumbent bike, I wanted to take it home with me on the spot. Of course it is not possible to just take one with my luggage, so I only get to enjoy the fun of riding one when visiting Mr Curious' family.

On a recumbent bike I never have a back ache after a whole day on the bike, like I would do on a normal bike - to say nothing of my bottom! I have plenty of strength in my legs so I get to keep up with the boys.

I just love it :D

The bike shop here has so many different models that customers drive hundreds of miles to come to that store. They come from outer state, too!

Here they are trying one of the more "all terrain" models - mostly because the wheels are closer together, like on a normal bike, you get more grip on gravel and the like.

There might be more grip but because you are at an angle upwards, it sure makes the start very clumsy when you are not used to it.
