Murrayfield

Cyclops and I went to Murrayfield to see Scotland vs England.

It was a very cold day and the match didn't start til 5pm so we layered up accordingly. I wore three pairs of socks, two pairs of trousers, and six layers on top. Actually it wasn't too bad in the stadium but when I just about got frostbite when I went out to the bottle bar at half time and had to have a two pairs of gloves second half.

I love the atmosphere at live sport, especially live international sport with all of the patriotism and so on. Flower of Scotland is my favourite bit of all, and it was accompanied for the first first but unaccompanied for the second which was totally haunting. It was amazing to be within that.
