For the family

Something new on the menu!!

"Hey mate, there were seeds in here yesterday and now it full of white stuff",

"My feet and beak are freezing"

We had about 10cms of snow last night and I'm pleased to say the bird feeders are now cleared of snow and restocked. That was easier said than done as the supply of bird seed is kept in an old plastic dustbin at the back of the house and the drifting snow was about 30-40cms deep. Fortunately the ancient home made snow shovel (a square of plywood nailed on to a length of 2"x2") has been an effect tool over the last 25yrs. We don't get much snow in Essex, a couple of falls a year at the most.

Hope everyone's having fun, either in it, looking at it or ignoring it!!

Didn't get to my concert last night:0(.

Ironic that snow stopped us attending "Conquering the Antarctic". The story told in music also featured projected original photographs, readings and letters from Scott's expedition.

Still......all may not be lost!! We are going over to Worcestershire on Wednesday (weather permitting) to see G'dad in yet another care establishment for rehab. Having looked at the tour dates for this concert, I found that they are performing in Cheltenham that evening, so maybe......to be continued.
