Skagit Bald Eagles

Here I wanted to show the best parts of Saturday that we savored in the Pacific Northwest. We drove up back roads to the banks of the wild and beautiful Skagit River where many Bald Eagles winter over. Since it's been such a strange winter most we probably should have been up here earlier. We saw a few but not as many as usual plus it wasn't as early in the day as would have made for more sightings! But we did see some soaring above which was spectacular. Also the skies were a brilliant blue and the North Cascades just popping out. So here's a little collage of the best of the day for us. Posting late again due to continued computer issues:( But that certainly didn't take away from a lovely day up north:)
