Late Night Traffic, and Snowballs at 3am!
Snow finally started falling for real here at 9pm yesterday.
By 10.30pm (bedtime) the snow had stopped falling and the view out of our window was beautiful. Pristine. Glistening. Immaculate. Very blipable. But it was still yesterday. So, to bed.
Only to wake up at 3am. Startled out of sleep by noises outside. Couldn't make out what it was, so went to the window.
First observation was that late night traffic had destroyed all hope of the early morning 'same as the night before' blip I had hoped for.
Second observation was that a snowball fight was happening. Two teenage girls against two teenage boys. Dressing gowns over nightwear, anoraks over dressing gowns. Trainers. Gloves.
None of that is visible in this photo. The boys were hiding from me out of shot to the left, and the girls were hiding from them, behind the last parked car on the left left hand side of the road.
Still, I was up at 3am, and the counterplay of amber light and white light from two different kinds of street light was interesting.
So that was today's blip chosen.
