Character

Today Mother and I strolled around the big block, taking pictures. There was a big fat robin in the grass, the white branches of a birch and the green branches of a pine tree against the blue sky, some lovely pink grasses, a wonderful pile of rocks and these weathered branches with lichen growing on them. The character the branches spoke of won out!

We have had the most beautiful week of sun and blue sky. I'm worrying that winter and all the snow in the mountains that we need to irrigate is passing us by, but I am LOVING the blue sky and sun!
