Shadow Play

I love playing with shadows and light, something I didn't pay attention to at this level until I started shooting photos. Living in a climate where clouds are the norm, I have to grab sunlight and shadow when I can.

We have a wonderful south facing room with a full bank of windows - appropriately called the Sun Room - and this afternoon there was a small strip of sunlight near the stairway. Because of Laurie's child care profession, I have at my disposal some pretty cool toys to play with use as subjects. And voila!

Ah, there's nothing like shooting in sunlight to show off what needs a good dusting.
