Footbridge over the A61 - Walk Day 3
The walk started in Dronfield, which prides itself on the rich network of footpaths. There are nicely presented information boards with maps and suggested routes. The large footbridge was invaluable when crossing the dual carriageway. West of the road there is lovely countryside with small villages, where the ground trends higher westward towards the Peak District.
The varied route also took in southern fringes of Sheffield right on the watershed.
Walk Day 3 - 28 km. Dronfield, golf course, Common Side, Brindwoodgate, Cowley, Dronfield Woodhouse, Bradway, Greenhill, Lowedges, Batemoor, Coal Aston, Bowshaw, Dronfield.
