Lakeland Winter
Set off today in Freezing rain to find most of the terrain freezing up as i walked, the higher up i went it turned to snow of which there was plenty in abundance that was being carried along with the wind building up onto drifts on the stone wall that stretched along the Ennerdale fell.
Heading back over Crag fell (pictured) both the wind and freezing rain was begining to bite and so i decided i had enough and set off back to the car. Walked for a few years now in all sorts of weathers, but this was the worst and coldest i have experienced... saying that i still enjoyed it :)
