The smell of the snow

Does the snow smell? Smell is probably the most evocative and elusive of senses. Words are captured on a page, sound is recorded or written down. We can freeze any moment in paintings or fotos..fragrance, however , is a riddle.

A sensation and an idea can awake memory, stimulate the emotions, arouse the senses..and in a blink, untouchable and invisible, it can evanesce so easily..
