No snow here

All over the country snow is falling but for some reason Blackburn gets freezing rain. Now I haven't seen freezing rain since I lived in New Hampshire so this is an unusual event. It is different from what I used to see. This is many, many layers of crackle and not a single unified whole like we used to get. Still everything is coated in a lovely glistening layer of ice with icicles making a rare appearance.
