Girlie day

What a fantastic way to spend a Saturday - with two of my best friends. Jacqui invited myself and Mandy over to hers for a sewing day. We arrived early, left late drank loads of cups of coffee and tea, ate Christmas cake and lots of other delicious food Jacqui had made for us. Oh yes and did a bit of sewing! This is a blip to show that despite our lack of productivity we did set our machines up and had every intention of doing some sewing.

However the lure of someone else's sewing room was too much for me and Mandy. We enjoyed watching Jacqui hunt for a book and then get distracted with things she pulled out of her 'Mary Poppins' cupboard.

To top it all when we left it was snowing. I have had a lovely day - thank you so much girls. xxx
