I made the unwise decision to go outdoors today. The wind and cold and rain was just all too much.

But I've got a borrowed Nikon 70-300mm VR lens that I wanted to go out and play with for a bit. I ended up testing the extreme focal length in the Castle Terrace car park. It's not bad, but that much zoom has limited applications, especially for just hoofing about town.

In other news, how have I only just now found out about Human Giant?
