New York Attire

Tomorrow it will be 9 years since I went on a Sixth Form trip to New York. Today I had to dig out my 'New York' coat for a rather chilly walk to work. It was needed, and kept the top half of me toasty. My legs were very cold though!

Fortunately it didn't start snowing until I got home again. It's been doing so ever since, very light, but very consistent. It's actually very New York like behaviour, on the afore mentioned trip, as we exited McDonalds (a post theatre rendezvous point), it started snowing in very similar manner. And carried on and on. By morning it was knee deep! We spent a simply glorious (and timeless) section of the day wandering through Central Park, regressing to childhood and throwing snowballs at each other (yes, even the teachers/responsible adults - actually I think they displayed the most childlike behaviour!)

Not exactly expecting similar occurrences in Wakefield, but I do like a bit of snow!

The hat I bought specifically for walking to work in, in November 2009. I've hardly had such opportunity since then. Decided against wearing it on the way home, though this was a mistake!
