A phone call from my daughter the other day asking if she could borrow an embroidery ring sent me on an expedition searching for a couple of days for it.
Eventually I found it lurking at the back of a cupboard. I am not a big fan of doing embroidery & when my ma in law bought this for me it was as a present to make while I was waiting for the arrival of her first grandchild in 1979

Every 10yrs or so it surfaces & I feel guilty and do a flower or two, I'm determined to finish it this year before it becomes an antique!
