1980?s Gold Dust...

I use to race bikes in the 70's and early 80's and rode for a team that had 4 riders in the national squad...

I spent quite a lots of time at the squad sessions during those times, most of the GB team would wear flip flops like the one's in the photo. At that time you could not buy them in England and the riders got them when racing abroad...

In 1983 i was in Zurich for the world track championships and managed to pick up a pair of the flip flops... from then on i would strut around at track meeting with them...

Simple things please simple minds...
