WELCH'S NEWHAVEN. I love going to this shop and just looking at the displays. this is a 'chain' of fish shops around Edinburgh and they have a stunning one in Musselburgh. Today I bought some smoked tuna and am hoping it will taste good for my dinner.
Newhaven is a neighbour to Leith and has a small harbour where you can book a boat trip around the Forth coastline. Here was the home of the celebrated Newhaven Fisherwives Choir some years back. They wore a distinctive 'uniform' based on the traditional garb for fisherwives of Newhaven.
