The middle of nowhere, Belgium

The first thing you see upon entering our village is this cowshed. Exciting or what.

We finally had a decent amount of snow yesterday, enough to cause major chaos on the roads. More snow is expected tonight. Also, it's properly cold at last: minus 16°C (3°F) - exactly how I like it. We're celebrating with a barbecue this evening. Hooray!

In case you think we're mad, just after last night's big snowfall, we saw 2 young men in bobble hats and shorts (shorts!) cycling past our house around midnight.
