Des res in a sought after location

Founded in 1619, Guildford's Hospital of the Holy Trinity is now known as Abbot's Hospital and recognised as one of the finest sets of almshouses in the country. It's a magnificent Jacobean building and the final resting place of its founder, George Abbot, Archbishop of Canterbury from 1611 - 1633. Still used as a residential home, I would rather like to end up there in old age.
It was hilly and chilly in Guildford today. I'm very fond of Guildford, having lived there and worked there in the past, but it's always so busy on Saturdays that I find myself mightily relieved to escape home afterwards. I'm such a country bumpkin!
