Reflections

Nice to have Beth home, she's settled up north and happy and all grown up and less self absorobed and lovely to have home but just as untidy(which feels strangely reassuring).
One bro and sister in law and kids in the neighbourhood so had meal last night with them. Ian(bro in law) and I did a steady 2 hour run along the dales way this morning cathcing up and sizing each other up for the head to head in Conniston in 6 weeks. Ian is one of the good guys and we have a great friendship, and these intermittent long runs/chats are part of the glue that make up our lives.

Todays shot of the reflection in the Wharfe just before we reached the strid is fitting as there is a gentle, honest, grateful, reflective flow to our converstations these days.

The plan is for Linda and I to go to Sheffield mid afternoon to see another bro and sister in law along with super Sam and lovely Lilly, but we are expecting snow so we'll see how it pans out.
