Unwanted Icicles!

I had a lie in to 9.00am this morning which makes a change from the normal 5.30am start.

I went outside to re-fill the bird feeder and an icy blast hit me. It's not snowing but it feels damp and cold. As I went round the outside of the building, I found that the drip from upstairs overflow pipe which I reported a couple of weeks ago has now got to the stage where it has managed to form some rather eye-catching icicles as the water bounces on the ground.

I don't envy the guys playing in the Calcutta Cup rugby match later on at Murrayfield in Edinburgh - there will be a few cold hands. At least the forwards can cuddle up to one another in the scrums. :o)
