February is American Heart Month

Two little boys are helping raise awareness.
So delighted how these 17 minutes of photography turned out so lovely.. on the blog
Today I.. rested and chatted with Blippers Karen & Trudi on Chat and yes, we had a lot of fun, bounded around ideas, supported each other.
Next month is Reuben's second open heart surgery. Emotionally, I feel prepared. I booked Cirque du Soleil for us just before when my Mum will be here from London and I'm thinking ahead to the summer when Callum and are will be over for our UK photography roadshow, plans for which are underway.
Just loving the 70-200/f2.8 IS USM and its flexibility, the range of different looks and feelings I can create from a single lens, my running legs replaced by a zooming lens.
The American Heart Association wrote to say "Would you mind if we include it as a future Heartthrob photo?". We'll they're certainly my Hearthrobs this Valentine's.
Funny old thing photography. This idea came to me and I took:
- 3 minutes to get the boys and hearts together
- 2 minutes to wipe their faces (unsuccessfully it seems from editing)
- 17 minutes to shoot in its entirely, start to end image
- and 2 blooming hours to edit the session!
