This is all the trades men that worked with hammer in there work with metal It was built in 1541, by a JANE RYND,and designed by her husband MITCHELL MACQUHANE. Six years later a hospital was added. The tower was added in 1620,the bell came fromMIDDLEBURG in HOLLAND, made by MICHAEL BURGERHUYS.
It has the only remaining intact stained glass windows in SCOTLAND from before
the reformation. The reformation was the break from the catholic church in 1560,
after it the church was used as a meeting place for the reformed church.
