Cream of the crop

It's amazing the blip photo opportunities that lurk in various corners of the house.

These little cream jars sit on top of a shelf in our living room. We bought them about seven years ago - from memory £5 for all three - at a Sunday market in Meadowbank Stadium, Edinburgh.

They are from creameries in the south of Scotland and I wonder how much they cost when they were first on sale. And I wonder if they were delivered to people's homes, sold in dairies or by farmers? Maybe someone knows.
