Buckle

I had my 'nurses' buckle in 1984 when I first qualified as a general nurse.

At the time I had 3 year old twins and the little cherubs on the front reminded me of them-little did I know at that time I would have a further 2 more babies in 1986 & 1988.

I still have delight in wearing my buckle as a midwife although it's not very practical on the birth unit so I don't wear it so much these days.
