On the shore
Another cold but bright and sunny day so Ollie and I spent most of it outside. One of the great things about living in the village is that, if you are outside, folk walking past will stop and chat so it is very sociable. Really nice to catch up with all the news.
After all the rain recently, the spot where we park the car has been churned up into thick mud. This afternoon I carried loads of buckets full of pebbles up the beach and dumped them in amongst the sludge. Ollie enjoyed himself fetching me pieces of rope and snuffling about at the water's edge and we both had a really good time. Makes me long for the spring but I'm doing my best to live in the here and now, rather than the future!
