Edinburgh Light 1

Bright sunshine and clear skies saw me head into town with the intent of getting a "traditional" Edinburgh view for today and I did get a couple reasonable shots before the cold started to get to me.

Edinburgh is full of interesting architecture of different styles and periods. I ended up choosing this (not so traditional) image as I thought it was a little different. This shot was taken at the top of "The Mound" (North Bank Street) where there stands the rather impressive "tenements" with 8 or 9 stories.

I hope to take the same shot again when it is darker and the lights are on for comparison.
