Cold Feet

It's gottten really cold over night. The ditches in the park are covered with ice and this Bar-headed Goose (Anser indicus) from Central Asia finds it difficult to get her morning drink. I love these geese; they're a little smaller than the local varieties and certainly look a lot more friendly- just take a look at this Leinegans... ;-)

The Italian lessons I had planned to take this week have been cancelled because they couldn't find enough participants. Too bad! :-(
