Three amigos!
Lauren and I arrived back to BA at around half6 this morning. We got a taxi back to commence our plan, as quickly as possible, of sneaking out of the flat. Basically I had problems with the girl I was living with and to avoid confrontation and more arguments I decided to move out a day early. Considering we didn't leave the flat until half past 8 I can't believe everything went accordingly to plan! Between us, Lauren and I had 2 big rucksacks, a suitcase, plus at least four other carry bags. We also had to make two trips down stairs so as Lauren could keep the apartment block door open as I left the keys and grabbed the rest of the bags. We bumped into the security guard when leaving, creating another obstacle. I have never been so happy and relieved to jump into a taxi.
Andrew very kindly offered us his place to stay for the 2 nights left of Lauren's holiday. We lay about his flat all day siesta-ing, had a well needed McDonalds, headed out for some yummy arabic food including hummus, feta, olives, falafal and chicken kebabs, and then we came back to the apartment for some drinks with Andrew's parents. It was a hilarious night full of story telling, nibbles and vino. When his parents left we moved onto the gin (and a coffee) and prepared ourselves for la fiesta de espuma, for the 2nd week running. Apart from not feeling too well I had an excellent night. Hilarious as per usual and we even managed to crash a private party on our way home, much to my displeasure lol.
