Manitou Springs
Colorado. It's Candlemas. The Christmas decorations can be put away now.
No trip up Pike's Peak. Overcast and snowing. Over a foot of the white stuff expected so I didn't drive up like I did in 1989 when it was a gravel road. It's all paved now; no fun, no danger, or rather not so much danger the forest ranger said nothing about guard rails.
I like Manitou Springs before the shops open in the cold and little traffic. Diffuse light and a few blips. Drove through Garden of the Gods to take a few blips in the murk.
Fort Collins, a college town is full of traffic and people a few more blips. Haven't had the opportunity to really walked about the place before.
There's likely to be nearly a foot of snow in the morning. North-eastern Colorado might get up to two feet.
