Domtoren, Utrecht

An impromptu day trip in the wonderful Dutch city of Utrecht. My fella was running horrendously late for work after a delayed appointment this morning so I agreed to drive him, to save him some commuting time on the trains. Thought I may as well hang around til hometime and squeeze in a bit of shopping.

It was a beautiful day though a bitterly cold wind, it made sightseeing and photo-taking virtually impossible, my fingers hurt like hell. So only a handful of pics taken again today, so you'll have to make do with this hideously overexposed one. perils of not checking the histogram but I just wanted to get the camera back in the bag and the pinkies back in my pockets asap!

I enjoyed being on the go all day today, welcome distractions. Absolutely shattered now so hopefully all this fresh air and exercise will encourage a restful nights sleep. (Oops, I mentioned it again, sorry!)
