Overboard

This morning we had arranged for someone from the Linlithgow Climate Change Group to come to our house to discuss solar panels and other energy savings advice with us. I'm not sure whether or not we'll go ahead but it has given us some things to think about.

Foreveryoung took Ethan swimming for me today while I looked after Eden. He has been playing up for me recently at swimming and has been incredibly clingy, so I wanted to see if he did have a genuine fear of the water or if he was acting up for me. He didn't have any tantrums with Foreveryoung but was very clingy with her too. So I'm still not too sure!

Eden, in the meantime, was as good as gold with me!

They then stayed for lunch and Granny & Grandpa arrived too. Ethan was asleep in Foreveryoungs car when Granny & Grandpa got here - I think he was really pleased to see so many people here when he woke up!

Ethan and I then went to Overboard softplay to meet my friend Lesley and her son Logan. The boys did charge around together although also played seperately. When we left, Logan said to his mummy "I love Ethan"! Awww! Ethan always acts like he can't climb over the low fencing for the toddler section and makes me lift him up. I've been convinced it's a bit of an act though and that he can actually manage it himself. Today I was proved right when he kept doing it with no help from me - I think he forgot he wasn't supposed to be able to do it!

We then went to Bathgate for dinner with the Foreveryoungs. For the first time in ages Ethan sat on a big chair for dinner really nicely. He stayed there for the whole meal and ate loads too. Result! He was bathed with Eden before we left and as usual they did lots of splashing and I ended up soaked!
