ALL THE VICIOUS WOMEN IN THE SEA

Here's a bit of street sculpture from Hartlepool which invites those old "they must have been going at a hell of a speed when they hit that wall" jokes.

The title comes from a misheard lyric from this song by Cliff. When B was but a lad, he thought that's what Cliff was singing, rather than "all the fishes swimming in the sea".

Whoever was in charge of background music in the shopping centre this afternoon was having a bad day. While I was in there we had Like A Rolling Stone and Love Will Tear Us Apart. Great music, but hardly jolly shopping songs.
