Feathered Friends

I spent this afternoon at mum's house waiting for some medical equipment to be delivered. I did make myself useful and cleaned the kitchen, but had a few coffee breaks and sat in the sun room to watch the birds on her feeders.

I'd taken the camera to get a few photos, but having never tried to photograph birds before I didn't realise how hard it is. Why don't they just pose nicely for me? I'm gutted that I just missed getting a photo of a woodpecker, I'd just picked up the camera when a magpie came and scared all the birds away :-(
