Colours in the cold

It was minus 3 C this morning, according to a friend of ours who was out early, and although it's bright and sunny it is still very cold, so I needed some reminders of summer today. We harvested these dried piments d'Espelette (paprika peppers) from the garden last August and September and the dish brings back memories of a hot day in Figueres where I bought it some years ago.
