Camp Day Three - Stacks

On this day and the next two we had three daytime activities and three groups, so each got to do a different one each day. We had bike riding, sailing, and beaching. I got to hang out at the beach for the day, enjoying the sun and sand and (not) surf, while chatting to a cool group of people. In the evening we had milk crate climbing to challenge the campers, although it was usurped a little by Just Dance - a Wii game where you have to copy the dancers on screen and get points for accuracy. It was the camp hit, and there was a constant beat of pop music behind everything at free time for the whole week. Before milk crate climbing got going though a visitor child got to have some fun on the ropes set up by her dad to support people as they climbed. We stacked up crates, and little S got to swing into them, and send them crashing. She thought it was fantastic. So did we. Then all the 'big kids' got to have a turn at stacking milk crates one at a time, climbing up each one, and putting another one top before they all came tumbling down.
