Ice-ing on the Lake

I don't think the ice was very thick where this Swan was balancing on the edge of the ice as he kept breaking it as he waddled along ungracefully....not as you would expect from a Swan. He was the only thing I saw there apart from half a dozen Redshanks in the mud by the river.
