groundhog day

This is art from my preK class. Tomorrow is groundhog day. The tale goes like this... tomorrow morning when the groundhog comes out of his hole he is either going to see his shadow or not. What it comes down to is whether it's a sunny morning or cloudy morning. It really doesn't have much to do with the groundhog. If he does see his shadow that means we are going to have six more weeks of winter, if he doesn't see his shadow it means we will have a early spring. Today I heard that he is more wrong than right and maybe whoever invented this crazy idea got the shadows stuff backwards.

So Mr. Groundhog just do whatever you got to do to make us have an early spring and I will love you forever.
