Winter trees

These trees were taken after dark, illuminated by lights from the town.

It's been a strange day. My mother-in-law died in hospital yesterday evening, while I was sitting with her. An unhappy day, obviously, but also worthwhile. Today was just mundane - phone calls, meeting someone at the airport, collecting the death certificate, going to the registrar. The same event, but emotionally disconnected.
