....two hours of pushing broom.....

Well, more like two and three quarter hours really.

See my broom handle, see how shiny and smooth it is? That's because it's the one I shove up my arse to sweep the floor as I go about doing all my other work!

A full day's teaching.... 5 different classes..... four different year groups.....a fifteen minute break......a short lunch time....cut even shorter by the need to deal with a couple of recalcitrants.....a missed nicotine top up because of that.

A full "meeting" after the pupils left at two-thirty. I didn't get to do anything I needed to do or wanted to do, because of the cascade of paper that fell from above like the snow we're not having. "Requests" to re-do some work, to work in a different manner on a particular task and to instigate something extra that's already been tried before and failed.

So the next few days leading up to half term are going to be very busy...so to paraphrase Douglas Adams..............If you've done six impossible things today why not round it off with breakfast at Milliways, the restaurant at the End of the Universe?............I'm off for a Pan-Galactic Gargle Blaster or six to put out the flames of resentment coursing through me.

Das vidanya moy padruga.
