Sketch no. 5 - ink line drawing

This is the 'common' pose of my partner Alan, who is often 'slumped' infront of the PC monitor, and me, being comfy on the sofa, can try a quick sketch without him even realising... well at least until he moves, and then I moan :)

Tried a line drawing, which really isn't my style, as one wrong line and it all goes pear shaped (literally!). But is a good technique to practise as you have to concentrate more about every mark you make. Must admit this was my second attempt as when I initially 'joined' up the lines, poor Alan's nose ended up somewhere near his ear - ha ha :)
